There are a few buzz words that describe the way a lot of women want to feel when they get older: classy, elegant, and glamorous. If you’re one of those women, you’ve come to the right place.
To look glamorous, you have to feel glamorous. There are a few ways to accomplish that, and in this article, we’ll go over all of them.
Like we said — feel glam, look glam! If you’re a busy person, it can be difficult to find time for self-care, but self-care is the most important step to feeling good, and confident in your own shoes. (It’s also that much more important to practice self-care when you are busy.)
On a daily basis to practice self-care, you should be doing these four things:
- Moisturize: Twice a day, make sure to moisturize your face and neck. It will help your skin feel hydrated and smooth, and in many cases, moisturizers can utilize anti-aging properties to help blend out any fine lines, or wrinkles.
- Sunscreen: Even if you’ve never had an issue with the sun before, it’s important to wear sunscreen. Everyone can get sun damage on their skin, even when it’s not in the form of a sunburn. Many fine lines and wrinkles are caused by sun damage, and to protect your skin from further damage, wear sunscreen on a daily basis.
- Water: It’s so easy to forget that everyone is supposed to drink 11.5 cups of water a day. It can vary depending on your weight, daily activity, and your environment, but at minimum, it’s understood that everyone should drink eight cups of water a day. This is essential to your overall health, and wellbeing.
- Sleep: Another one that is essential to overall health is sleep! When you sleep well, your body gets the opportunity to repair itself from the day, lock in memories, regulate brain function, and (in many ways) heal the body.
Every once in a while when you find the time, you can take self-care to the next level, and give yourself a spa day. Find a recipe online that you want to cook, watch a movie by yourself or enjoy a good book, run a hot bath, and just relax.

When looking for ways to glam up your look, make sure it stays true to you. You don’t have to completely change your wardrobe, hair, or makeup to look glamorous. If you regularly practice a rather low maintenance look, search for small ways to integrate glamor in easy, quick ways.
For example, a good place to start is with a pop of color. Maybe you try a bold lipstick or some dazzling earrings. When done well, just one pop of excitement to your look will automatically elevate it to a more alluring style. But remember, less is more!
